In 2015, we heard stories of families going through the unthinkable. We heard of kids younger than us digging through dumps of trash looking for things to either sell...or eat.
We heard of families being pushed on to abandoned mines while active mines close by caused sinkholes.
But most importantly, we heard of a vision and a team making these families a promise: new, safe home to live in.
HomeTreats.org was started to support this team. We sold baked goods and donated all the profits.
In the end, we were able to raise over $10,000.
